1. About CryptoImpakt

CryptoImpakt is a platform operating as a global social experiment with the singular mission of understanding how much cryptodust exists in the world. CryptoImpakt is not a company, charity, non-profit organisation (NPO), financial institution, or investment platform. By using this platform, you acknowledge and accept this distinction.

2. Nature of Contributions

All funds sent to CryptoImpakt campaigns are referred to as contributions. Contributions are not donations, investments, purchases, lottery tickets, or raffle entries. By making a contribution, you are voluntarily participating in a social experiment to quantify global cryptodust and supporting the platform's mission.

3. Distribution of Funds

Contribution funds collected through campaigns may be distributed as follows:

  • A portion to selected, verified charities;
  • A portion to randomly selected contributors;
  • A portion to support the ongoing operation, maintenance, transaction verification, and development of the CryptoImpakt platform.

The exact percentages of these distributions are not fixed and may vary between campaigns at the platform's discretion.

4. Randomised Contributor Selection

Contributors selected to receive funds back are chosen through a fully randomised process. There is no guarantee of selection. Making a contribution does not entitle any participant to receive funds in return.

5. Transaction Fees

If you are a contributor selected to receive funds, any blockchain transaction fees, network fees, or transfer costs required to send the funds to your wallet will be deducted from your total payout before distribution. You will receive the amount after all applicable fees have been subtracted.

6. Tax Responsibilities

CryptoImpakt does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. All participants — whether individuals, charities, or organisations — are solely responsible for:

  • Understanding and complying with all tax laws and regulations in their respective countries and jurisdictions;
  • Reporting any received cryptocurrency to the relevant tax authorities as required by local law;
  • Making any required tax payments relating to funds received through the platform.

CryptoImpakt accepts no responsibility or liability for any tax obligations arising from contributions made or received through the platform.

7. Charity Obligations

Charities applying to CryptoImpakt must:

  • Be a registered charity or organisation and provide proof of registration;
  • Agree to receive contributions in cryptocurrency;
  • Accept full responsibility for their own tax and regulatory compliance.

8. No Liability

CryptoImpakt, its team, contributors, and affiliates accept no liability whatsoever for:

  • Any financial loss arising from contributions made on the platform;
  • Tax implications or penalties in any country or jurisdiction;
  • Fluctuations in cryptocurrency value before, during, or after distribution;
  • Errors, delays, or failures in blockchain transactions;
  • Any claim that the platform constitutes a financial service, investment vehicle, lottery, or gambling platform.

9. Blockchain Transparency

All distributions to charities and contributors are recorded on the blockchain. Wallet addresses and transaction hashes are published on the platform for independent verification. CryptoImpakt is committed to full transparency in all fund movements.

10. Modifications

CryptoImpakt reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Acceptance

By using the CryptoImpakt platform, making a contribution, or submitting a charity application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
